Our trip must have been shorter than I thought because our activities, besides enjoying each other's company, must have been limited reflected in the few photos I ended up with. Enjoying each other was paramount, however. Here you see Debbie & Lalena engaged in making cookies for the occasion.

This is one of the more successful entries in the friendly competition.

Below, Christmas dinner was as special as most anything can be. Not all of us are shown, but we all were one.

Though the social communion was paramount, somehow the lust of conspicuous consumption embossed a patina upon the events,

Lalena, and me wearing the apron she made in the back seat during our drive from North Richland Hills to Franktown. It's quite a work of art. The baby's face (plastic) is removable for washing the fabric apron itself.

I've yet to subject it to the severe conditions I seem to impose on myself cooking whatever on the grill.

Carolyne and Lalena watch the opening ceremonies from the couch. Lalena is wearing her coonskin cap that I gave her commenting the place of 'The Land' which lies in Davy Crockett National Forest. She has since used it as a prop in her band's performances in NYC with great response.
