Possum Walk Farms is a family horse raising facility spreads over approximately 150 acres parts of which belongs to not only David & Sylvia, but also nephews Daryl and Pete and their wives Jessica. Yes both boys married Jessicas.

The focus is Arabian horses used for endurance riding.

See their website at Possum Walk Farms

They also host at least one ride, called th Unicorn Ride, each year and travel to participate in others.

Bosco above is a much favored horse on the farm because of his disposition and gentle (much of the time) nature.

The Fants went north to have Thanksgiving with Pete and Jess. Akyla the wolf kept an eye on the place for them, but we took on the responsibility of feeding some of the younger horses.

This is the Fants house.
Lalena with Mom & Colt.
Amanda left us very detailed instructions for feeding each horse left in our care.

It took several readings and inspections of the horses to reduce our anxiety about doing something wrong.

Lalena, me, and Ira trying to figure it out.

The anxiety was imposed by the highlighted warning that if a horse is overfed, we could KILL him!

However, e verything turned out just fine and we had a fun time together.

Ira is proud of his work here.

Ira was curious of many things on the farm. Here he is exiting the 30 some od foot combination horse trailer and home away from home.

Ira also inspected the tractor.

Below Lalena, Ira and I are walking back to the house with one of the pastures in the background..
